Welcome to Sage & Sol Bakery

Hi friends (: I'm Tashmere, owner and head baker at Sage & Sol. In 2021, while pregnant with my second daughter, I dove head first into nutrition and that led me on a quest to make our everyday grocery store staples at home from scratch. 

Never in a million years would I have guessed that my mission to be the best mom I could be would have led me here. 

Baking for my loved ones and extended community is such a passion of mine. So welcome to my microbakery, my daughter's namesake, Sage & Sol.

One of our core pillars is utilizing high quality, organic ingredients in our bread. We live in a time when much of what's marketed to us as food will actually end up depleting our bodies of nourishment rather than providing it. We pride ourselves on specializing in a true, ancient food and giving it our absolute best because your family deserves it.

Plus, bread is freaking delicious and we shouldn't have to feel bad about loving it ! 

This accidental business was born from a simple desire to bake nourishing, delicious  bread and share it with the people that I love. What began as a small side hustle that I could do with my kids by my side has evolved into something so beautiful, so grand. Its humble beginnings of Sunday's in my home kitchen with friends and family has turned into seeing our bread in markets and stores ! Serving the community of West Maui is such an honor and privilege and I will do it for as long as they let me.
